Back to Painting

It's back and I'm so happy! I finally got the inspiration to start painting again. The past two or three months I haven't been able to pick up a brush. I've wanted to paint but I couldn't make myself sit down and just do it. Yesterday I plucked up the courage and began painting...Oh it was so amazing! I had forgotten how happy it made me to paint. Doesn't matter what I paint, I just paint and it makes me happy. Here's what turned out.--African Lily

The Dancer

My latest work. The main reason why I haven't been on-line much.
I used acrylic, not necessarily the best choice as I'm not so familiar with it. This is only the second painting with acrylic, I probably won't be posting the first. But I love painting so hopefully the more I practice the better I'll get! You can find the original picture/painting at www.viningsgallery.com . Fabian Perez, the guy who painted the original, is now my new hero!

Boabab

Today was my free-day, and I decided "art"! That's what I wanted to do, I wanted to paint.--So I did. I borrowed all the necessary tools from Joy (brushes, guache, pad...) and went to it. Here's my boabab and 'african sunset'.
